The Emergency Department at Hansen Family Hospital is a certified Level IV Trauma Center, providing services to the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Each year our facility cares for more than 5000 patients ranging from simple injuries and illnesses to critical cardiac events and trauma, motor vehicle accidents. Hansen Family Hospital has the staff, equipment, and resources needed to stabilize serious patients while preparing patients for transfer if it is needed.

Specially trained Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, a Trauma Coordinator, nurses, EMTs, and PCTs (Patient Care Tech) staff the Emergency Services Department at Hansen Family Hospital. The nurses are certified in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) and BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
