OB Share Care at Hansen Family Hospital

Pregnancy is a happy and emotional time for parents-to-be but can also be full of uncertainty. It is important for parents to feel secure with the care they are receiving from the first prenatal visit through labor and delivery.

What to Expect at OB Share Care

Our Share Care program in Iowa Falls will provide prenatal care from confirmation of pregnancy up to 36 weeks.

Hansen Family Hospital providers Craig Gibson, DO and Thomas Waters, DO will oversee all OB physicals and appointments up to the ninth month of pregnancy. Necessary laboratory testing and ultrasounds will also be completed in Iowa Falls Clinic. From 36 weeks to delivery, patients will complete their pregnancy care at MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City.

During their time at Hansen Family Hospital, patients will also have the opportunity to meet the providers that will be with them through labor and delivery. They will have a chance to meet with MercyOne North Iowa OB/GYN providers and become familiarized with the birthing center in Mason City.
