Rheumatology

Rheumatology

Rheumatology focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases of the musculoskeletal system.  This includes ailments of the bones, muscles, joints, and adjacent connective tissue.  Approximately 1.71 billion people have musculoskeletal conditions worldwide, making it the leading contributor to disability worldwide¹.

Musculoskeletal conditions can have a debilitating effect on the body, including ongoing pain and limitations in mobility and dexterity, limiting your ability to work and participate in every day activities. With the debilitating impact rheumatic diseases, or arthritis, can have on the body, it's important to treat these ailments to limit impairment and protect your quality of life.
